Reading rule. This material is Russian occupation-press output, presented as an object of study and not endorsed. Claims within it are the occupation administration's framing, not verified fact. Counts are keyword frequencies per page; a high count marks editorial emphasis, not truth.

Zaporizhzhia occupation press: two registers

How the ZaMedia holding divides its work between an official gazette and a flagship newspaper, 2024 to 2026. Companion to the issue index and the curated excerpts.

Public-safe derived layer. Charts are built from keyword counts and issue metadata; the newspaper PDFs and full text are not published. ZaMedia asserts copyright over its content, so only derived counts appear here.

1. The division of labour

Mean keyword hits per page for each theme, by masthead. This is the central finding: Запорожская правда carries the legal-administrative load, Запорожский вестник carries the persuasion. Normalised per page, so the different issue counts do not distort it.

2. Theme intensity over time

Mean hits per page by month. Choose a masthead. Gaps mark months with no issues collected; the gazette's line stops in February 2025, when official publication moved to a network edition.

3. Themes by municipality

The gazette is issued as separate per-municipality editions, so the same masthead can be compared town by town. Cell = mean hits per page. Darker is denser.

Based on the 26 gazette issues only. Municipalities marked in red have just one or two issues collected, so their row is indicative, not robust.

4. Issues collected per month

Both mastheads. The gazette's contribution ends after February 2025; the flagship continues weekly to July 2026.
