These incidents are gathered by monitoring a selection of 46 separate online Ukrainian and Russian sources to identify violent resistance acts committed by Ukrainian partisans inside the occupied territories or Russia, or committed by Ukrainian-connected or Ukrainian-run partisans inside Russia. The sources are not shared, so as not to draw attention to them, some of which have small reach or are private. We triangulate the events identified against occupation sourcing and/or other Ukrainian sources before including them. Nevertheless, these cases must be treated with caution, and as indicative rather than representative.
