TOT Insights maps Russia’s occupation of Ukraine as a single interlocking system, rather than a list of separate abuses. We draw on three foundations: primary sources from the occupation itself, first-hand material from inside the occupied territories, and academic analysis that brings it all together. We aim to offer a more integrated account of how the Russian occupation works and of its consequences for the people who live there, Ukraine, and the rest of Europe.
